Treasurer’s Report
For the period July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008

Overall revenue decreased by 9% this year, due primarily to a reduction in grant monies received during the year. Rental income remained essentially unchanged. An increase in dues and contributions from the membership of 32% was experienced, relative to the previous year.

The debt load has been decreased by 40% during the year. Expenditures on capital improvements to the facilities were small this year, and they were focused primarily on making improvements to the farm house. The improvements consisted of replacing the window units on the front face of the house, and replacing the water pump in the farm house.

Capital improvements are necessary on the remaining five outbuildings. To accomplish this effort, separate sources of monies in the form of grants or major contributions will be required in the coming year.

Grant funds were received from DEP through the Recreational Trails program. The grant monies were used to prepare an information flyer on erosion control, for use in educating the public on how erosion of trails and hillsides occur and methods for preventing future damage.

Please see the following Statement of Financial Position, the Statement of Activities, and the Statement of Cash Flows for more details.

Respectfully submitted,
Robert P. Letendre, Treasurer
