Circa 1915, Valley Falls Farm, showing the unpaved Valley Falls Road, no power lines and an earlier version of the woodshed. We dated the photo based on the Stevens-Duryea roadster parked in front of the farmhouse. The flamboyant Count Munchow, owner of the farm during that era, owned such a roadster. The only other house in the photo sits at the intersection of Valley Falls Road and Bolton Road.
Stable and piggery (extension far left) in winter. You can also detect the cold cellar’s cement front wall to the right behind the stable.
