The Valley Falls area includes two major sections, each with its own history and special features.
Valley Falls Park includes the pond, Railroad Brook, recreational facilities, the Braille Trail and miles of hiking trails. It is owned by the Town of Vernon and maintained by the Vernon Parks & Recreation Department.
Valley Falls Farm is owned by the Friends of Valley Falls with the exception of the Red Barn, which is part of Valley Falls Park. Its history is intertwined with that of the park.
