The public is invited to leisurely stroll through the grounds at Valley Falls Farm between 1 and 3 pm on August 22, 2021, and enjoy watching and talking to the plein-aire artists painting on the grounds.
Other paintings by the artists will be on display and available for sale in the Red Barn, 350 Valley Falls Road, Vernon. Tours of the historic farm buildings will be held at 1 and 2 pm, to include colorful details of the various owners of the “Gentleman’s Farm” during the 19th and 20th centuries.
Guitar and mandolin music courtesy of Judy Handler and Mark Levesque, wafting from the porch of the 1850’s Farmhouse, completes the picture! Admission and parking is free. Refreshments provided by the Vernon Arts Commission. A perfect way to spend your late summer afternoon!
Please park at the Valley Falls Park parking lot…tell the attendant you are there for Artists Day, walk up the path to the Red Barn. A shuttle will be available if needed.
